Privacy policy
vibecentral.app is the website for vibecentral, a free, open-source dashboard that people run on their own hosting. This policy covers the website only. A dashboard someone installs from the source code runs on their own accounts and servers; nothing from it is sent to us.
What this website collects
- Nothing by default. There is no analytics script, no tracking pixel, no advertising, and no account to create.
- The request form. If you use "Want a feature or a connection? Tell me", we receive what you type: your name (optional), your email address, whether it is a feature or a connection, and your message. The form is processed by Netlify Forms, which also records the time of submission, your IP address, the page you submitted from and your browser's user-agent string, and applies spam filtering.
- Server logs. The site is hosted on Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify keeps standard access logs (IP address, request, time, user agent) for a limited period to run and secure the service, under Netlify's privacy policy.
- Fonts. The page loads the Inter font from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests the font files from Google's servers and Google sees your IP address for that request, under Google's privacy policy.
How we use what the form sends
Only to read your request and, if useful, reply to you about it. Submissions are emailed to the project maintainer and kept in Netlify's form dashboard until they are deleted. They are not sold, shared with anyone else, used for marketing, or added to any mailing list.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies. The light/dark choice is kept in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device. Details are in the cookie policy.
Links to other sites
Buttons on the site lead to GitHub (the source code) and Buy Me a Coffee (optional support for the project). Those sites have their own privacy policies and we do not receive data from them about you.
Your choices
You can read the whole site without sending anything. To have a form submission corrected or deleted, send a short note through the same form from the address you used, and it will be removed from Netlify's form data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version replaces this page and the effective date above moves. There is no mailing list to notify.
